A huge thanks to everyone who attended Seaton Chess Club's very first Blitz Tournament. The event was very well attended and a great success.
It is of course fitting and proper that the first event was won by a dinosaur! Congratulations to Exeter's Tim Paulden as outright winner with 5/6 and for dressing up for the occasion!
Congratulations also to Sidmouth's Nicky Bacon and Exeter's Brian Aldwin for winning the grading prizes.
Special thanks also to Jonathan Underwood for acting as controller for the night managing all the pairings and results.
Full results for the event can be found here: 1st Jurassic Blitz Results
We plan to run a further event on Wed 28th November - further details will be published soon.
